Hey my loves!
Raise your hand if you have perfect hair, I sure don’t but that is okay, I promise.
There is nothing better than embracing what we were born with and enhancing it in the most natural way possible.
With that being said, hair changes with weather, age, etc. My hair in Miami was different than what it is now that I live in LA. I mean my hair is still frizzy but in Miami it was more porous due to the humidity and in LA it is more tamed because there is literally no humidity. But with that comes super dry weather, so it has taken me a while to figure out what works for me now (I’m sure you know the feeling).
What I discovered in LA is that my hair had natural waves and that has made me see my hair in a whole different way and show those waves off as much as I can. I also stopped using the blow dryer (well almost) and the curler and I have become BFFs, oh how life changes.
Just like I play around with makeup to figure what looks good on me, that’s exactly what we should do to figure out what shampoo and conditioner works best on us.
I just got highlights and my hair was feeling dull, dry and just ughhhh, so Aussie came into my life at the perfect time. As you know me I have a hard time choosing so I was glad Aussie sent me a selection of products to try.
So let me break it down for you, first day I use:
- Protects hair from damage, split ends and humidity
- The moisturizing frizz control system makes hair silky smooth while strengthening it against damage
- Get 7 benefits in 1 conditioner! Strengthen against damage, silky softness, split end protection, nourishing moisture, humidity control, brilliant shine and lasting smoothness
- The frizz control system leaves hair silky smooth and strong
After using both the shampoo and conditioner I decided to let hair air-dry (that’s how I test the frizzyness level) and I was so happy to see the frizz was minimal after just one use.
I usually wash my hair 2 to 3 times a week, and I was happy with the results, I couldn’t wait to wash it again and now try the Aussie Mega Moist shampoo and conditioner.
- Gives you moisturizing power while strengthening your hair
- Leaves hair clean, fresh and ready to be styled
- Quenches thirsty locks in a flash
- Maximizes hydration to give you a luxurious, silky mane in no time
And that is just the beginning, my hair was like, can you use this more often (well that is if hair talked to me).
So guess what? I let my hair air-dry again, but this time I used the 3 Minute Miracle Strong Conditioning Treatment (you know to spice it up).
- Makes hair 10x stronger against damage vs. non-conditioning shampoo
- Lengthens the life of your locks by helping reduce damage
When they called it Miracle, they weren’t playing around, this is my go-to deep conditioner (and also have used it and the leave-in conditioner) it is light enough not to weigh my hair down ( and I have really thin hair).
Now I am not really a Hair Gel kind of girl, but since I’ve been trying out new hair do’s for different photoshoots, I was like let me give the Aussie Instant Freeze Sculpting Hair Gel a try, so I did. No wonder it has a cult following since 1979.
- Ideal for fussy hair that refuses to hold
- Perfect for holding braided top knots
And it keeps all those stubborn fly-aways in its place and held my hair for the braids I did (I’m obsessed with Crown Braids and Milk Maid braids).
Well now ladies, I definitely encourage you to give Aussie a try, these are really good products for an amazing price point and that’s a win, win in my book. You can find all of these Aussie products and more at Amazon.
For this look I used the Total Miracle Collection 7N1 Shampoo and Conditioner, I toweled dry my hair and used the 3 Minute Miracle Strong Conditioning Treatment (as a leave-in). I let my hair air-dry and then use a 1 inch curler and added some extra waves and voila! Do you like it?
I thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you come back for more of tips and tricks on achieving a natural beauty routine. Hope you have a super duper day!
With Lots of Love,
