“What good is fashion unless it stirs up genuine emotion! Love and beauty have a magical, tranformative power.” – Sue Wong

Sue Wong lit the catwalk on fire with her beautifully ornate and heavily embellished designs for her ‘Fairies and Sirens’ ss15 collection in LA this week. The house of Sue Wong is known for technical excellence as well as ornate and intricate detailing. Her garments are meticulously and lovingly hand-beaded, embroidered and finished by true artisans, employing techniques that were once only practiced in the couture houses of Europe.

She set a fabulously glamorous standard for her collection with these beautiful nude and gold dress. Adding to the breath-taking runway were elaborate headdresses by Haute Headwear, Fiori Couture, Kicka Custom Design, and Lisa Marinucci Design.

Not one to remain subtle for long, Wong brought a sense of mystery and danger to the runway introducing more textures into her designs adding stripes, ruffles and and sheer fabrics for ladies who likes to make an entrance!

Rounding up the show was a series of stunning all -white ensembles. Beading, Embellishment and Jewels brought a fierce air of elegance, power and beauty to the collection. Wong is not one to shy away from the dramatic look and she stays true to her roots with this collection. It’s a mixture of old Hollywood Glamour, a hint of  Wong’s Oriental roots and vintage details all rolled in to one.
