How to wear black in summer, could be a real struggle specially for people that love wearing black all year-round (me, me, me).

I just love black, black clothes, black shoes, black accessories, okay black everything. It is so chic and elegant it elevates any look.

But with a little imagination everything is possible, so I want to share with you who I incorporate and how to wear black in summer.

I pick one piece of cloth that’s black and work from there, for example a pair of black jeans or a skirt like the 2 looks below and then I added a Forever 21 off-the-shoulder top a cute Charming Charlie x Kendall & Kylie bag and a pair of white Johnston & Murphy heels.

For the second look I went a little more fancy with black skinny jeans and Pleione statement gingham top with ruffle sleeves and a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes.

For this look it is all about black details on this Who What Wear x Target caftan dress and all the accessories are black, from the Guilty Soles shoes to the Urban Outfitters hat and the RV eyewear sunglasses.

I obviously have a thing for gingham, ruffles and off-the-shoulder tops, this time I’m wearing these Topshop gingham pants with a ruffle hem and I’m wearing it with this Madewell Eyelet shirt with ruffle sleeves and these super comfortable and cute Steve Madden block heels in nude. And the same Forever 21 off-the-shoulder top that I can’t stop wearing (see first look on top), it literally goes with everything, it’s soooo cute and I love the way it looks on me and my body. Remember to always dress for your body type on not just because it’s the latest trend, ’cause not all trends are for every body type.

Not to mention this San Diego Hat Company clutch and hat that has taken over my Instagram feed and I couldn’t be happier, because I adore this bag so much.

I’m a sucker for straw everything since I was a little girl, because straw is huge in Ecuador (and Italy too) so I grew up loving it and appreciating it.

A quick history note, the Panama Hat is original from Ecuador but was first seen and made famous in Panama so they named it that. Okay I’m not really into history but when it comes to fashion then that’s a different story.
