London Fashion Week (@LondonFashionWk) came to an end yesterday as the tents came down and the designers packed their bags. It was five days packed full of designs from Burberry Prorsum (@Burberry), Tom Ford (@TomFordIntl), Mulberry (@Mulberry_Editor) and Vivienne Westwood (@FollowWestwood) to Erdem (@Erdem) and Peter Pilotto (@PeterPilotto). This year we saw a lot of bright, bold colors, tulle, floppy hats and lace.

Here are a few things we’ve taken away from LFW SS15:

Tulle is a must.

Christopher Bailey was noted tying pieces of tulle around models’ waists for Mulberry, while Christopher Kane used it to soften his palette of blues, blacks and creams by popping it under is dresses.

Having jungle fever works.

Erdem was a fan favorite this year while many ravished in watching the jungle-inspired floral gowns flow down the runway. Not to mention we’re still talking about the two stunning all-black gowns covered in green feathers. With the runway itself covered in palms, ferns and birdsongs playing all around, who wouldn’t embrace their inner animal?!

We can still play Cinderella.

London was full of ground-grazing gowns this past week and if you have a wedding approaching you are in luck! From Marchesa’s (@MarchesaFashion) gorgeous pale pink chiffon gown to Julien MacDonald’s (@JulienMacdonald) eye-catching lace mermaid dress, we can all pretend we’re Cinderella heading off to the ball again.

We have serious shoe envy.

Jonathon Saunders (@SaundersStudio) displayed strappy leather sandals and Chelsea boots on the runway which were part of his collaboration with Christian Louboutin (@LouboutinWorld). This is one collaboration we can’t wait to see in stores!

Embrace your frizzy hair.

We never thought we’d say that, but to embrace your inner fashion week model, let your locks go free! Marques Almeida channeled the 70s and created a halo effect while Tom Ford’s edgy designs featured models with bleached locks and lots of fringe.
