Last month we were invited to attend the Grand Opening of the Pendry Hotel in San Diego. I love San Diego and I was just there 2 months ago, so I was super excited to go back.

So we packed our bags and went on a roadtrip (which one of our favorite things to do) from Pacific Palisades to San Diego’s Gaslamp District. It’s about a 2 1/2 hour drive if we leave by 11 am, which is the magic hour to drive around LA. I promise you you will never get stuck in traffic at that time. Okay so getting back to my trip.,

The hotel is located on the Gaslamp district, which is one the the most touristic areas in San Diego. Everything is within walking distance with tons of restaurants and shopping, yes and yes!

When we arrived at the Pendry Hotel, we were greeted by a beautiful flower wall with the name of the hotel on it. Then we processed to the lobby which decor goals for me, I wanted to (and I did) take pictures of every corner in the hotel.

Then we went to check-in and they offered us a delicious drink (they have a different one every day) and the keep it a surprise, I thought that was so cool.

We then headed to our room, with the most spectacular views of San Diego, and then I see a little surprise gifts they had left on my bed and I almost cried. That was so thoughtful of them, it included a pair of RAEN sunglasses, water, a flask and some other goodies.

The decor of the Pendry Hotel is at another level, every room, corner is styled to perfection. The bathroom for example has Carrera Marble combined with the cutest wall paper ( so Instagramable). They have their own bathroom products take you can buy, like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. And can I tell the have the best bath rub I’ve ever tried on, so soft, with the perfect fit.

After unpacking and taking a trillion pictures of the view, the bathroom, we changed and headed downstairs to explore the hotel. We saw the pool, the cabanas.

We did a quick stop by the Spa to check it out, ’cause we had a massage appointment the next morning. The Spa is to die for, we couldn’t to go back for my massage.

Then we went back to our room, to get ready for that night’s activities. Which included pretty much a party at the space in the hotel, from the lobby, to the restaurants.

Champagne and drinks flowing all night long, small bites, a donuts wall (yes a donuts wall), photobooth and engraving provided by Intent.

After the party is the after party, so we headed to the Oxford Social Club, one of the of the six restaurants and bars at the Pendry San Diego.

Lionfish, modern coastal cuisine.

Provisional, Southern California-driven seasonal fare, boutique shopping, and gourmet coffee

The Pool House, light bites and poolside drinks t

Fifth & Rose. the perfect cocktail

Nason’s Beer Hall, local craft beers

Oxford Social Club, an elevated nightlife experience

The Pendry San Diego has everything and then some, for everyone’s taste and needs from coffee to cocktails, from poolside to basement, and from casual to luxe.

And after a short night sleep, we woke up hungry and headed to Provisions for breakfast. Everything they were serving was so good, it was so hard to decide ( yes, I have issued with it).

So I did the only reasonable thing, I have pizza for breakfast, it had and an egg on it, so it’s acceptable. And after a good cup of joe I felt like a new person, like we didn’t even party all night long.

After our massage, it was time to pack up and head back home, and just like that our stay at the Pendry Hotel San Diego was coming to end.

Thank you Pendry Hotels for having us at the Grand Opening, you sure know how to spoil a girl. Can’t wait to go back again soon.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have a super duper day!

With Lots of Love,

xo Rossana
