Scottsdale Travel Diaries with Toyota

As you may have seen on my Instagram and I want to share my Scottsdale Travel Diaries with Toyota with you guys.We took a road trip from LA to Scottsdale a few weeks ago, our  Toyota family once again invited us to test drive a car. Back in January we went to Temecula Wine Country for the 50th anniversary of the Toyota Corolla.

So let me tell you about our Scottsdale Travel Diaries with Toyota. This time around it was to Scottsdale, AZ to check out the LA Dodgers and the Angels spring training games.

And for this roadtrip had a  Toyota Prius and drove the I-10 from the sea to the desert, around 415 miles one full tank of gas. As I am writing this I still can’t believe it.

DAY 1:

We decided to leave early (we left around 6am) to avoid all normal LA traffic. And it paid off we made it in around 5 1/2 hours, yayyyy!

For our roadtrip Toyota hooked us up with a backpack full of snacks and water, perfect for a long trip.

We arrived at the Talking Stick Resort around noon, checked in our room, unpacked and then off to explore Scottsdale. But first we did a little walking around the hotel to see where everything was located and where we had to meet the Toyota team for dinner.

Then off to Old Town Scottsdale, the day was so perfect with clear skies and it was in the 70s. We parked and walked around and found a super cute Mexican restaurant called Cien Agaves Tacos and Tequila. And of course we had tacos and margaritas.

Then we went back to the hotel, to catch on emails, rest a little and get ready that evenings events.

And my favorite part, getting ready and choosing my outfit. I took a variety of shoes, heels, flats, sandals and sneakers. Of course different sunglasses to go with my outfits and plenty of bags as well. I some times take a few extra accessories to have options.

It was finally time to go meet and greet the Toyota team and all the other influencers that were invited to attend the Toyota Grand Slam trip.

The event was hosted at Orange Sky, which on the rooftop of the Talking Stick Resort and Casino, and they views are to die for.

We got to meet so many amazing people, we enjoyed drinks with a view and took a group picture, before enjoying dinner.

DAY 2:

The next day we had breakfast at the hotel, before going to the first of two spring training games and it was the Dodgers at the Camel Ranch Stadium in Glendale.

Everyone drove in different cars and we did carpool with a few local bloggers. It was a great way to get to know each other better.

We had the night of, so we went to dinner on a double date with Sam and Erik from The Frenchy Toast and headed back to Old Town Scottsdale.

It was more like food tasting, we went to Sumo Maya an Mexican-Asian fusion restaurant that blew my mind, they even had Ecuadorian ceviche.

The adorable Cynthia from FabAZ, hooked us up, and we got the blogger treatment. If you want to know whats up in Arizona, she’s your girl.

Then we went back to the hotel, we stopped by the casino for a little and to our room to catch some z’, because we had to wake up early for breakfast with the team.

DAY 3:

Another day, another game and this time it was the Angels at the Tempe Diablo Stadium. It was getting hot, so after the game we got hungry and headed back to Scottsdale for lunch.

Sam and Erik took us to one for their favorite pizza joint and it’s Pomo Pizzeria. And it was soooo good, Douglas and I shared a pizza and pasta.

Then back to the hotel again, rest, repeat and get ready to our last dinner/event.

It was bitter sweet because it was our last night with the Toyota team and all the bloggers. But we had so much fun at TopGolf, with a little golfing lesson, a little drinking and little eating. It was the best way to say bye to a pretty amazing group of people.

I have to tell you I fell in love with Scottsdale and can’t wait to go back again soon!

DAY 4:

Next morning we tried to wake up early, but we missed by 2 hours. We ended up leaving around 8am, and on the way back it took us 7 hours to get home.

Oh well on the positive side, so glas we were driving the Toyota Prius because we made it back on a full tank gas, boooyah!
