Okay, okay I know I say this all the time, but I can’t help it. I LOVE 70s fashion, so here is what happen I was walking in the mall to go to my favorite store, do you know what my favorite store is? I wear everything from there, I tag them at least 5 times a week, anyone? anyone? okay I’ll tell you, it’s Nordstrom.
So I finished my shopping there and I was headed back to my car, and all of the sudden I see the most amazing dress in one the rack at the entrance of the Forever 21 store, and I had to go in. I didn’t even walk around the store looking for other things, I grabbed the dress and went straight to the fitting room (which I never do) but since I don’t shop at Forever 21 that often, I wanted to be sure it fit me the right. Which it did, this was actually the epitome of love at first sight in a fashion version, I loved the pleated skirt, sheer top with long sleeves it was so me.
I already knew what I wanted to wear it with, which is exactly was I’m wearing for this look. The dress is so gorgeous I really didn’t need to add that much and I actually kept most of the accessories black. My laceup shoes and my Black Neck Scarf, both go with EVERYTHING! My Ray Ban Metallic Clubmaster and my Gucci Soho Disco crossbody bag, so pretty much all of my go-tos in one outfit.
So I left everything ready for the next day to wear it for an event I had, and of course I wanted to do a photoshoot to share this easy breezy look for you guys.
I got some many complements and I was excited to say the dress is from Forever 21, because you never know where you are going to find something that you love. ANd the idea of mixing low and high fashion is my favorite thing in the world.
