I am not much of a makeup kind of girl, and I try to stick to what I can make work for me and it is usually red lips and bold brows. But lately I been experimenting with a soft, neutral make up for everyday. I feel like it shows the real you just a bit of extra glow.
A soft make up is the perfect make up to wear from day to night, from work to play, just a little re-touch and you are good to go.
I don’t know why but a soft neutral makeup makes me feel like I am forever on vacation with an endless tan.
I love when my cheeks glow, my lips are naturally glossy with a touch of rose, and I want to share with you how in less than 10 minutes and only using 5 products I do my super natural, neutral with a touch romance makeup.
You guys already know which is my favorite department store, right? So of course that is exactly where I went for my mini haul to buy my makeup for this look, Nordstrom.
They have so many options, a girl can go crazy going from counter to counter for hours, because you know shopping is cardio, right?. But seriously I’m telling you Nordstrom beauty department is ah-ma-zing, from skincare, to make up, to hair products you will find it all at the store or online, which you prefer, I like a mix it up so I shop at both.
Okay, not all neutrals are for everyone, so make sure to ask for help if you can’t figure out what you want or need.
I always try to go for “multi-use” products, I think that should be my middle name, and you are going to see why when I show the products I chose.
Okay to start any make up application, you need to start with a clean and well moisturized face, that makes a huge difference in the way the applies, looks and stays . Use for favorite skincare and let’s get started ( I recommend a good serum before applying your make up.
I chose 3 multi-use products out of the 5 products I got, it will save you money, cabinet space and time looking for products in your bathroom, I call that win, win, win! Ad now these are the make up products I chose for this look:
- Anastasia Duo Pencil:
It is an Illuminator Crayon duo, matte on one side and shimmer on the other
I use the matte to define my eyebrow arch and the shimmer as a highlighter on my cheek bones.
- NARS, blush/bronzer duo:
I use the blush on my cheeks and the bronzer to define my jaw line. And then I use the blush again as an eye shadow!
- MAC, Penultimate Brow Marker, to fill in my eyebrows for a fuller, stronger brow.
- Dior Hypnose Drama Mascara, because it’s my favorite mascara in the world.
- Clinique lip colour and primer in Nude Pop, for a smooth application and natural look.
And that is all folks, and easy, romantic, soft with a strong brow and defined lashes.
What do you think?
I thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed this make up look. Hope you have a super duper day!
With Lots of Love,
