I’ve always wanted to go on a #juice #cleanse, but it can get pretty costly and the results don’t seem to stay for long after you return to your normal #diet. Instead, I’ve discovered a way to constantly #detox your body for cheap: homemade detox drinks! Have one of these every day for #breakfast or as a #snack, and you’ll feel so much fresher and healthier. Of course, the drinks generate the best results when combined with a healthy diet, sufficient sleep and regular exercise. And without further ado, here are 6 #recipes I came up with:
1. The Reds
Ingredients: 2 carrots, 1 tomato, 1/2 pepper, 1/2 orange, 1/4 lemon
Additional: add some ginger for extra spice or honey to sweeten it
2. The Greens
Ingredients: 3 cups of spinach, 1 cucumber, 1 bunch of kale, 1 cup of broccoli, 1/2 bunch of parsley, 1/4 lemon
Additional: add some mint for the refreshing taste and/or add a bit of apple to sweeten it
3. The Green Tea Smoothie
Ingredients: 1 apple, 1 or 3/2 cups of pomegranate, 1 cup of cranberry, 1 beet, #matcha green tea
Additional: add some ginger for extra spice
4. The Ultimate Fruit Juice
Ingredients: 1 cup of pomegranate, 1 cup of pineapple, 1/2 bunch of kale, 1 grapefruit, 1 cup of watermelon
Additional: add mint for the refreshing taste
5. The Thick and Rich Smoothie
Ingredients: 2/3 cup of greek yogurt, 1/2 of grapes, 1 orange, 1 cup of blueberries, 1/2 of a banana
Additional: add honey to it if you want it sweeter
6. Honey and Coconut Delight
Ingredients: 1 apple, 1 cup of spinach, 1 bunch of celery, 10 almonds, 1 cup of aloe, 2 tbsp. of #honey, #coconut water
Additional: Add some cinnamon or vanilla for a different taste
