A date night in Santa Monica it’s just what a girl needs, because trying to balance my personal life and work some times can be hard. Lately work has been overwhelming, I don’t have everything under control, but I am figuring it out as I go and I’m okay with it. But most important, I am grateful for every day that I get to do what I love. Well getting back to my date night, it started with a little photoshoot, because you know I wanted to share my look with you guys, of course.
The sun was setting which is my favorite time of day ( I take so many sunset pictures, that my Iphone 6 memorial is full). By the time we were done with the photoshoot the movie had started, but I can smell the popcorn from outside the movie theater, so I asked my hubby to go get us some and at least have some of the movie experience in our car (genius right?) Well I guess the message here is, always try to make the best of every moment in life and see the positive in everything, like I see the glass as half full instead of half empty.
Now let’s talk about my look, I was wearing this Mural Cape from Nordstrom that I uses on my previous post and that I’ve been wearing very, very often. I think it is that kind of piece that takes your outfit to the next level. A super cute mini A line skirt (the best fit for me), that I styled with a ZARA top ($16.00) and shoes ($50.00); that I scored in New York while I was there for New York Fashion Week. Both are now sold out, but I found similar style pieces and price ( I got you boo)! The white top and the black lace up shoes.
To finish this look I picked my all time favorite sunglasses by Ray-ban called “Wayfarer” and a vintage YSL satin clutch, not available anymore but I liked a similar one for you.
