Hey guys, can you believe I’ve never done this before, me neither! Well I’ve been wanting to do it, because it is literally everyone’s struggle, right? You see the latest and newest pairs of shoes or bag, and you’re like I can’t, but another part of you is like, I can’t live without it. I mean, don’t get me wrong I do splurge from time to time, but when I do it is usually for more classic pieces rather than trendier ones, because I’ve learned from my own past experiences.
You buy the the coolest bag of the season and then a few seasons or a year later, you are like “what was I thinking?” I don’t have that feeling when I buy more classic pieces like a good pair of pointy black heels or a pair of YSL “Tribute” t-strap platform sandals that I bought. I knew I would wear them a lot, but never thought they would still make these shoes 5 years later; and you can still buy then at major department stores, like Nordstrom.
Another splurge that I don’t regret is my Chanel 2,55 bag. I knew what I wanted when I went into the store, but the lady that was helping was pushing me to get a newer style and I was very torn, but I went with my original decision. I would wear that bag non-stop (literally non-stop) for months; then I gave it a break, and I will take it out like once a month. I’ve had that bag now for 6 years.
Here I am sharing, the trendiest and the most-haves style of the year:
The Chloe lace up wedges (splurge) , and then a (steal) version
The Aquazzura fringe heels (splurge), and the (steal) version
The Valentino block heels (splurge), and the (steal) version
I want to share a little secret with you, if you are going to get the steal version always try to go for a suede(ish) or patent one, it makes the shoes look more expensive than what they are, remember these are similar or inspired styles.
