Winter Beauty Product Review January 2016 Edition

January came and went, and I had 31 days to try out some many new products for you guys and I loved every minute (product) of it.

I’ve done several beauty reviews last year, but I actually decided to start a monthly review and put all the products together instead of individually since I was try out so many.

I try to cover it all from hair, skin, body all at once and why not a little bit of make up. I like to share all my new finds with you guys and help have the beauty routine possible.

In this beauty edition I added sometimes that I hadn’t included before, and it is these dietary supplements called 8G, which stands for 8 greens. I met the founder Dawn Russell at Nordstrom at The Grove, and I was able to talk one-on-one about this amazing dietary supplement and try it right then an there.

The 8 ingredients are: Spinach, Wheatgrass, Kale, Blue green algae, Spirulina, Chlorella, Barley grass, Aloe vera and it has changed her life and it could the same for us.

It is exclusively should at Nordstrom and it is only $12.50 and you should definitely give a try, I mean who doesn’t want to be healthier, right? Read more of her about here story on Nordstrom website, it will change the way think about greens.

Let me introduce you to my favorite combo, Agave Healing Oil Shampoo, Conditioner, Oil Treatment and a best Hair Brush I’ve used in a long time. You don’t have to use all the products together, but you get a better result. As soon as you are shampooing your hair you feel the softness and nourishment it is give to your hair. After applying the conditioner, I towel dry it and a few drops my hair starting at the middle to end. I have been letting my hair naturally (air dry). Then I separate it in two section, and grab it as if I’m going to pigs tails, twist it and bring them up like a milkmaid braid and use a few bobby pins to hold it ( I will do a tutorial soon) and when you are ready to go out, simply let them down and you will have the most amazing natural heat-free waves. To put the final touch add a few drops again and voila!

Let’s talk about fake baby, let’s talk about you and me. Okay I have to be honest, I’ve done any type of spray tan or self-tan in my life, it’s always been tanning at the pool or the beach. As a proud Miami girl that is how I grew up, but why not try new things, you know. Less exposure to the sun is always a good thing, so I decided to try it and I am in love.

I was so afraid it would look orange or with patches, but I was pleasantly surprise and this could definitely be my new way of tanning, you check Fake Bake out! All products are under $30

Raise your hands if you love Shiseido, I can visualize a lot of hands up in the air like you just don’t care. I have been a fan of them for awhile. And when they come out with a new product I always like to try out. This one is called “Ibuki” and it’s a gel and it is feels so refreshing on your skin. It is a multi-solution gel for all skin types, and helps with acne, breakouts, dryness and open pores.  It is a good addition to any skincare routine and its $38.00

I also tried these two new products that I satarted using with winter. The Seabuck Wonders-Himalyan Sea Buckthorn ( $15.00) body lotion has kept my skin avoid the dryness from this crazy El Niño weather and the ChopSaver keeps my lips moist and ready to apply any lip color without chipping ($5.00). P.S. The chocolate is good for your tummy and the candle is good for your soul.

Okay so you know how I love serums, gels and oils, right? Please tell me you do! So let me tell about these babies, they are BUTTER elixir, and they smell and feel like heaven. I tried out these samples, first the lip balm, the face oil and the body and hair oil. It just feels good to put it on, I also put in on my cuticles and I feel hydrated. I mean you can put it on wherever you think you need hydration. You can get all 3 as a bundle for $95.00

And last but not least all these goodies from Rimmel London, starting with the Long Lasting Foundation, it feels so light on my skin (and I am not a foundation type of person).

The ScandalEyes crayon eyeliner, it is so easy to apply and go. I have fallen in love with this Bronzer and it is the only thing I use now, it gives me a summer glow.

The ScandalEyes mascara, extends my lashes all the way to sky and I couldn’t be happier. And may favorite makeup item issssss? Lipstick! and I love this shade of red, but they have some many more option. It is perfect for winter and any time of the year for that matter it is super moisturizing for smoother lips.

Camera is not for sale at your nearest drugstore, but definitely necessary to take a photo a you apply this easy and simple makeup!

Whether you are new to my blog or have being following me for awhile, I want to let you know that I will always try to share the most mature and organic products in the market. As that is what I use on my daily skin care routine, that I do change from time to time depending on the season and the weather. I believe everything starts with good skin and the rest follows, so lets keep it natural!
