#BBcreams are all the rage and so many women have replaced their #foundation with it or just apply BB cream by itself. In my last post I talked about some #affordable products that help diminish the look of #darkspots. A majority of the products are BB creams, but knowing how to apply it is just as helpful as the product itself. These are our picks of the best affordable makeup brushes and sponges.
#Brushes
Applying #makeup with your fingers is not the best applicator because you have oils on them and they can cause breakouts or irritate already existing ones. A #brush or #sponge is the best way to apply your fave BB cream. Here are some of the best ones at an affordable price.
The first brush is the Skin Perfecting Brush by @EcoTools for $7.99
This brush is specifically designed for BB and #CCcreams. The bristles on the brush are packed densely so that the cream goes on smoothly. It’s an angled brush so you can reach the more difficult parts of the face like your eyes and nose. Besides avoiding #breakouts by using your fingers, the brush allows the cream not to go on streaky.
Another angled brush at a great price is the BB Cream Brush by H&M (@HMUSA) for $9.95.
It’s round, soft and absorbs the cream easily for even skin coverage and can also be used to apply foundation.
Another #quality brush you can use, but is a little pricier, is the Professional Rounding Angle Foundation Brush by Missha (@MisshaUS) for $16.
It’s #handmade, comes in a #gold finish and can be used to apply base makeup including BB cream. Because the brush has shorter and fuller hairs, it makes applying the cream easier and possibly faster.
Brushes for applying BB creams get more expensive but another way to apply the cream at an affordable price is by using a sponge.
#Sponges
A fan fave at Ulta (@ULTA_Beuaty) is the Super Blender Sponge for $4.99. It’s pointed at the top and has an #hourglass shape which benefits for its use.
Its #ergonomic design makes it easy for a person to use and can be used for blending liquids and creams. The sponge is ideal for #contouring tight areas as you can tell by the #design. The tip is pointed to reach more difficult areas like the eyes and around the nose. In addition, the bottom is flat so you can smoothly apply makeup around the cheeks and jaw.
A sponge by the brand @RealTechniques and sold on Ulta’s website for $5.99 is the Miracle Complexion Sponge.
This sponge’s shape is completely different, but has 3-in-1 uses. The flat edge can be used to contour around the eyes and nose, the rounded sides can be used to #blend the larger areas of the face like the forehead, cheeks, and jaw, and the pointed tip to cover blemishes and #imperfections.
This next sponge looks like a cross between the previous two sponges.
The Painter: Airbrush Sponge by @Sephora is $12 and comes in #orange and #purple. It’s created for contouring and #precision and allows you to have a flawless-looking #complexion
Both types of applicators, brushes and sponges, can be used to apply BB, CC, and #DDcreams as well as other liquids like foundation.
