poolIt’s full-on summer time, and you might be tempted to spend your days curled up on the couch watching #SexandtheCity during your free time  instead of going outside and doing things. At the ends of past summers, you might have felt like you didn’t do everything that you wanted to do. Below are some tips for ways to stay motivated this #summer ….

1.  Set Your Alarm – It might be the summer, but even on your free days you should plan on setting your alarm. Sure, let yourself sleep in every so often, but sleeping your summer away will leave you feeling like you’ve wasted your time. Set an alarm each morning and enjoy a good #breakfast, a few chapters of a #book, or some more time in the #shower.

2. Push Yourself– This summer, push yourself to try new things. If your more of an introvert, try accepting someone’s invitation to a #party. If you’re an extrovert, try spending a week by yourself, going out alone and journalling. Try new #foods, meet new people, read new things.

3. Make “Done” Lists – Instead of making “To-Do”  lists this summer, make a “Have Done” lists…document what you’ve done this summer – no matter how small it may seem. If you say hello to someone new, write it on the list. If you try a new vegetable, put it on the list. If you make it out of bed before noon…put it on the list. What you do is more important than a big list of things you don’t do.
