Block Heel is the new go-to heel

I’ve always loved a block heel (chunky heel) , I think they are so sexy but with an edge you know. I guess my love for block heels started when I was little, it was excuse to start wearing heels (sneaky me).

I thought they were so comfortable but they still gave me a little bit of lift (since I am 5’3″). And as I got older I have a variety of heels, wedges, stilettos and all of that, but the block heel is still my favorite.

My love for Italian is in my blood, as you may know form my blog and Instagram I am a true and loyal fan of Gucci, but when Marni came out with funky, edgy shoes, clothes and accessories my fashion sense evolved with it. I still m have my first pair of Marni Block heels, they are half sued, half leather and grey and half metallic ( I should wear them again soon).

And the thing with block heels is that you can wear them all day, and they won’t hurt your feet, and when I have a full day of events and meeting it is my go-to shoe.

Don’t get me wrong I love all shoes in general, regardless of brand, price when I like a shoe, I like a shoe.

And when I saw these Topshop Shoes at my local Nordstrom Store in Santa Monica, it was love at first sight and I had to have them. And right after I bought they told they also came in black, so guess what I did? I ordered them in black too. These shoes are only $ 80 so I didn’t feel guilty about get both pairs.

I have been wearing non-stop since I got them back in January (I get a little attached to certain shoes), I’ve worn them with jeans, pants, skirts, dress you name it, they go with EVERYTHING!

For this look I went with a Chelsea 28 Skort, which I styled with a Who What Wear x Target t-shirt. And for that extra touch I added this Topshop Long Vest (because it looks pretty).

And for the final touches I chose this  Old Navy Bag and added a Faux Faur Key Chain to take my bag to the next level (you can also add a scarf) . Then my sunglasses (’cause you now I usually don’t wear make up) yeah that’s my little trick. A few Gorjana Necklaces (they are my favorites), rings and bracelets, pink lip liner and I am ready to go.
