Jim Mullin, designer of JM Couture wowed the standing room only crowd with his Exclusive Dresses division of JM Couture (@JM_Couture) at Style Fashion Week (@stylefw) October 19, 2014 and revamped our typical ideas of old Hollywood glamour. The most impressive part the Exclusive Dresses collection was the intricate detailing in each and every dress. The abundance of rhinestones and beading layered over sheer fabrics updated the gowns’ classic silhouettes with a modern flare.
The minimalistic makeup and hairstyles allowed all attention to be placed on the collection’s brilliant detailed designs. The mesmerizing sparkle of the dresses was exquisite. Although JM Couture is fairly new to the fashion scene, the brand’s unexpected take on time-honored styles shows that we can expect to see this California-based brand become a household name.
