As if Sophia Amoruso (@Sophia_Amoruso) weren’t already on top of the world with her best-selling novel, #Girlboss and her crazy successful online retailer, Nastygal, she is now collaborating with MAC to release a line featuring lipsticks to be released in December.
“The lip has always been a part of the Nasty Gal look,” she explains. “We sell everything we shoot, clothing-wise, but since the beginning of the company, people have always asked about the lipstick [the models are] wearing.”
The collection of lipsticks which will be featured in MAC’s matte finish will be available in Stunner, a blue-red, Runner, a burgundy and Gunner, a deep violet . Amoruso has also created a nail polish in a classic bright red color. The lipsticks will retail at just $16 and the nail polish at $12.
“MAC is like the Apple of makeup,” Amoruso said. “[It] is an institution, but also a brand that’s made for real professionals. It’s also a really great product. We’re just dipping our toes [into beauty] right now, and they were the perfect partner.”
The collection is available to get our hands on December 4, just in time for the holiday season! The colors themselves are anything from bubble gum pink and are absolutely perfect for this winter. In the meantime check often here to buy them online as soon as they come out.
