Brooke Shields Partners with MAC Cosmetics!!!! This is one of the best things I’ve heard this year. Shields has been one of my favorite women since i saw the movie “The Blue Lagoon”, I remember watching that movie when I was a kid and thinking that it was amazing. Although she was in many movies she is best known for her Calvin Klein campaigns and that is what opened her into the fashion industry and now into cosmetics.
Shields has stated that she has always had her makeup done and that this is the first time she was able to put her own spin on makeup:
“I’m so used to having my make-up done by someone else – this was really my first time to delve in personally, rather than it being a mask that’s put on for a certain photo shoot. I loved being a part of the process and having my taste incorporated into it.”
The 15 piece collection will include a 16-piece eye shadow palette a Veluxe Brow Liner, Brow Set gel, nail polish, lipstick and lip gloss. it will range from $17-$87. The colors will range of beautiful purple tones, earthy nudes, pleasant beige, cloudy grey and shiny metallic. What I thought was super cool was that she incorporated her West Village apartment in the orange and grey packaging, it gives the collection the finishing touch and Brooke Shield stamp of beauty.
