Ciao to Milan Fashion Week and Ciao to Luxury Italian Fashion House Max Mara’s Spring/Summer collection for 2105.  Titled ‘Unconventional Women’ this collection is inspired by Icons who redefined beauty. We can’t wait ’til we see them again at next year’s Milan Fashion Week.

‘A collection founded on unconventional women who redefined the concept of beauty. Classic style icons such as Dominique Sanda in ‘The Garden of the Finzi-Continis’ and shots of Anjelica Huston at the Grand Hotel et de Milan inspired a new unexpected kind of femininity for Spring Summer 2015.’ – Snipped from Max Mara (@maxmara)

So the key trends to be picked up from this show are..

1. Head to toe print – We’re talking from your hat to the tips of your toes, don’t be afraid to match it all! Whether it’s block colour or indeed a colourful floral print you will be sailing fashionably in to the Spring/Summer Season.

2. Floppy Hats – Whilst on the subject of hats, Max Mara are bring the floppy sun hats not unlike the hats I remember wearing as a kid. Max Mara however, have evolved the look into a ladylike, fun and fashionable accessory that no doubt will be huge this Spring.

3. Knee High Boots – If your thinking about packing away your winter knee high boots, think again because they aren’t going anywhere! Max Mara has brought it into Spring/Summer by introducing the boots to us in beautiful Floral prints. If the floral look scares you  bit then fear not because they’ve also created gorgeous beige ones that will never go out of style.
