The yummiest event this past Monday was at Pistola LA, courtesy of Smithfield Foods, to celebrate Smithfield 2016 Chef’s Table. I have to say that I was very honored to have been invited among so many chefs and very influential people in the restaurant and food industry.

Italian food is definitely my favorite and when the menu is all Pork related that is just icing on the Tortino, you feel me?

This Tortino was served with bacon ice cream and garnished with bacon, yasssss!

This event was full of delicious food, great drinks and some amazing live music.

Slow Roasted DURoc Pork Belly
Every single dish was meticulously prepared with the perfect sides.

Tuscan DURoc Spare Ribs and Caramelized Brussels Sprouts
I enjoyed every dish with my favorite kind of wine, Pinot Grigio.

I honestly didn’t want to leave, I had such a great time and met some pretty amazing people, can’t wait to see them again. And can’t wait to the next event.
