Splurge vs Steal Fall 2015 Handbag Edition

Hey guys, I am doing another Splurge vs Steal but this is all about the newest, coolest and trendiest bags out right now. It is all about fall, fringe, suede and all those good things. When I was choosing my favorite bags, I realized I was choosing all Chloe bags, as the splurge and H&M as the steal. So I guess these are my favorite brands right now, what do you think?

The Chloe “Faye” bag comes in different sizes from large, medium, small and now a mini one, which I think it is the cutest thing ever, and it’s also a crossbody, and you know how much I love me a small crossbody. It also comes in so many colors and texture combinations from suede to python and so much more. Let’s be real, I know it is a bit expensive, well that’s why it’s on the splurge section. But let me tell you this is a bag you will have for many years to come, and you know why? Because it has a classic look to it and that makes it timeless, the detail of the ring and chain that would never be out of style and Christmas is around the corner so put it on a list or, do what I do every year, I buy it for myself. After I have wrapped and put it under the Christmas tree, I then open it with my other gifts. Let me tell you it feels so good that you worked your a$$ off and it is my way of rewarding myself for a job well done, try it!

The Chloe “Goldie”, it’s the cutest little satchel bag, it is a newer bag so I haven’t seen many variations to it, but I do love that it could also be worn as a crossbody (oh Lord, here I go again). You know the thing with crossbody bags is that they are so comfortable, I love to wear it  when I’m shopping, ’cause it’s one less thing you have to worry about, hold or carry around and also when I go to events or parties it leaves my hands free to hold a drink, etc. (emphasis on the drink).

The Chloe “Hudson“, and its fringe drives me crazy (yes I’m going to say it) it has a 70s, boho vibe that I live for. Also that suede texture and wait for it…..fringe!

Okay so pretty much there is pattern here, all 3 bags are Chloe and are crossbodys, classics, timeless and all around gorge. You can find different options depending on which store you like to shop at, these are a few of my favorite ones: Nordstrom, Saks, Neiman Marcus, Bergdof Goodman, Elyse Walker, just to name a few.

H&M is always coming with new designs that are soooo affordable from faux leather and suede to their new Premium Quality bags, they are a little more expensive, but then again you are paying for better quality. I personally have bags that I bought or were given as gifts over 15 years ago; and they still look and feel brand new.
