Valentine’s Day Look

Can you believe it’s Valentine’s Day is this Sunday? This year is going way too fast, are you guys ready to celebrate with your special one? I know I am. I love going out to celebrate anything, specially L.O.V.E.

So lets talk about dressing up for Valentine’s day, the typical colors that you find from department stores to restaurants is pink or red. But what about if you are not into wearing clothes of those colors? what to do?. Pretty simple, wear what you love and what makes you feel pretty, sexy, feminine and maybe add a pair of red shoes or a pink bag or even lipstick. I love me some red lips, Valentine’s day or not.

I love this Charlotte Ronson dress so much, as soon as I saw it I knew I had to get it. It has everything I am looking for in a dress, flowwy,  comfortable and very wearable.

I have used it with a leather jacket, denim jacket, a belt, with booties, flats and it looks no matter what. The print is the perfect mix of blue, nude and black which are pretty much my favorite color (also white)  so it was so easy to style it in some many ways.

This dress make me feel so pretty I had to wear for Valentine’s day, ’cause when you feel good it shows and I want to hubby to see that.

I don’t any specific plans for Valentine’s day (because we are very last minute people) but it is also more fun to do spontaneous things. I start calling around to see who has available reservations and if not we end up out our favorite neighborhood Italian restaurant, which we actually can walk to and have the best time, because it is all about the company.

We love movies, so we may end up at the movies as well, so many good movies coming out this weekend, we’ll see. Can you believe the LA Marathon is on Valentine’s day? yep!

One thing we like to do is walk to Santa Monica with Chloe and Stella (my dogs) and greet the people that make it to the finish line, so that maybe the activity in he morning, depending what time we wake up.

So let me get back to this look, I keep all the accessories grey (not on purpose, because it never is) it was just what came to mind at the moment I put this look together. I always like to wear so sort of blazer, jacket or vest, it takes the look to the next level and because I am always cold (and I can always take it off).

I added these super sexy AMIclubwear grey strappy suede shoes, grey tote , my initial necklace and a pair of Quay sunglasses. You don’t have to spend and arm and a leg on an outfit for just one day, go to your closet I look a something that you love and maybe haven’t worm in awhile and add new pair shoes and earrings, to give it a new twist.

And just like that I styled this sexy and comfy look and now I’m ready to celebrate our love, our marriage with the love of my life, my one and only Douglas.

Valentine’s day is just one day, but don’t forget to celebrate each other every day by being kind and considerate to one another.
