Mary Katrantzou’s Spring/Summer 15 Collection was one of the most highly anticipated Shows at London Fashion Week this season and the Greek Designer (@marykatrantzou) did not disappoint. Inspired by all things Volcanic, The runway was lit up with glittered, textured fabrics in a range of earthy tones through to bold blues and oranges. She stepped away from her usual array of Bright Multi-coloured print for a moment to embrace some earthy greens and creams which I find very refreshing.  Not to disappoint us though she stayed true to her signature style for the rest of the collection with some beautiful nature inspired prints combining ferocious blues, fiery oranges, muted greens and charcoal black. The very clever and talented Miss Kantrantzou has also picked up on the sheer cut out trend we have been seeing all through out this LFW which is seen subtlety through her collection and compliments her textured printed fabrics beautifully. So what have we learned from Mary Katrantzou’s SS15 Collection? A perfect combination of textures and prints will have us looking fabulous this Spring!
