And just like that, it is Spring and I couldn’t be happier. Spring is that season where you can literally wear anything and you will be comfy and cute because the weather starts to get warmer (well depending where you live). And that already makes me want to experiment more with clothes and mixing and matching. You can wear the cutest dress during the day and throw a sweater or coat on top for the evening and still look divine.
Like with this outfit, I had just bought this Target lace top and I just knew I was going to be wearing a lot. I love the sleeve length and they high neck, it makes it so chic and elegant. Then I remember I had bought this Alexa Alexa neoprene skirt back in December at a sample sale, that I still hadn’t worn. And when I saw both pieces together I knew that was an outfit waiting to happen. I needed to a pop color (’cause you know that’s how I roll) so I grabbed this Emilio Pucci clutch, I’ve had in my closet for years. I was looking for a pair of lace up sandals (that I was never able to find) maybe it was a sign not to wear color on my feet, so I went with the exact opposite. I wore these Christian Louboutin cork heels, that have also been in my closet for the longest time and I have ignored for too long. So I dusted them out and just like that this outfit came to be.
And just as I was heading out, it got a little chilly and I remembered I had this long coat in my car I got at Nordstrom ( for emergencies). I have to tell you something I always try to get clothes, shoes and bags in my trunk, just in case I change my mind. Which I usually don’t, but it there give me peace of mind, weird I know.
So back to the white coat, I just thew it on and it worked and took this look to another level on chicness. And a finally touch of color on my lips with my new obsession the Colourpop Ultra Matte lipstick.
