When I read that 42-year-old Winona Ryder would be the new face of Rag & Bone’s fall campaign, I was incredibly excited. I have been a fan of Ryder pretty much my whole life, lets just say from the moment I saw Beetlejuice, I was hooked for life.
The Stunning black and white photos were shot by Glen Luchford in Coney Island New york and also features the handsome actor Michael Pitt who is also the former face of Prada’s 2012 menswear campaign. The Photos show Ryder and Pitt looking cool and casual wandering around an arcade playing games, collecting prize tickets and eventually taking goofy pictures in a Photo Booth.
Ryder is the perfect woman for this campaign with her edgy pixie cut and the sleek wardrobe, she personifies what the brand is all about. Managing Partner of Rag & Bone Marcus Wainwright has stated that Ryder has a “beautiful, timeless quality”. (WWD) “To us, Winona Ryder is a bona-fide icon,”. “One of the things that makes her so cool is that although she has this incredible career, she isn’t interested in being a movie star.” This quote is perfect because iv’e always felt that Winona Ryder has always stayed true to herself and didn’t care what other people thought, which makes her a total rebel, plus the woman never ages she still looks the same as she did in the 90’s… Winona Forever!!!!!
Both campaigns will run in most magazine’s including, all editions of Vogue, GQ, Vanity Fair, Interview,Gentlewoman, Lui and WSJ. Magazine.
