My oh my, what is there not to like about Malibu. The beach, shopping, restaurants, the ocean breeze, and the people.
Today was such a beautiful day. The sun was out, the weather was splendid, and the birds were chirping above!
This was in front of one of the stores at the new Malibu Lumber Yard. Can I stay here for a minute?

And, to top off a wonderful day in Malibu, a great Sandwich Cubano with french fries, and ripe plantains on the side.

I feel like I’ve traveled a million miles, yet, it’s just a day outing in Malibu. Only a few miles up PCH to Malibu Country Mart. The restaurants are popping up all around, new ones and old ones. Some of my favorites like Mr. Chow, Cafe Habana Malibu, Nobu, and Casa Escobar, among others. Malibu still has that country, small town feeling. I love to put on a simple top, jeans, great Christian Louboutin shoes and a 3.1 Phillip Lim bag to make the style my own.
