On Wednesday night the fifth annual amFAR Inspiration Gala was held in Los Angeles, a event that benefits AIDS research. Gwyneth Paltrow hosted the fabulous night, which left Justin Timberlake standing up on his chair dancing the night away.
Showing some skin was the trend of the evening. Miley Cyrus, who is no stranger to flaunting a little skin wore a revealing Tom Ford dress. The bondage-inspired ensemble featured very strategically placed strips of fabric across the singers chest. Jaws were sure to drop as Cyrus made her way down the red carpet.
Rihanna also wore Tom Ford on the night of the Gala, but opted for a slightly softer look with an ivory dress that had a super-high slit. The dress which featured purple sequins to cover her breasts was paired with thigh-high black stockings. Rihanna completed the look with a bold orange lip and a polished up-do.
Unlike Miley and Rihanna, Victoria’s Secret model, Alessandra Ambrosio opted to bare some booty. The model rocked a black tulle Zuhair Murad gown that featured black panels to cover Ambrosio where necessary. She also paired her look with a sleek bun and smokey eye and nude lip.
The Gala included in auction in which Miley Cyrus battled it out with Tom Ford, himself for a photograph of Ryan McGinley. The pop-princess won the auction while Rihanna won a pair of Harry Winston diamond link earrings and a a photograph of Elizabeth Taylor taken by Willy Rizzo.
A surprise performance from Coldplay was presented by Paltrow, announcing, “This brilliant singer-songwriter has sold 8 million records, has won every single award that there is to be won, especially Father of the Year, which he has won consecutively since 2004.”
Kelly Osborne ultimately closed the event by inviting guests to her after-party hosted at STK & Bagatelle.
