This, cleaning my closet, project I have going on right now is actually like re-introducing myself to my own clothes. The thing is, my closet was (well it still is) so packed that I could barely see all of it. I keep the most recent purchases on a wardrobe rack so, sometimes, I forget what’s inside my actual closet.
Today I fell in love all over again with my vintage military jacket (a close friend gave it to me a few years ago and I cherish it like our friendship) and I started styling my outfit of the day (ootd you’ve heard that before right?) around it. And, I wanted to keep it pretty neutral. I added this linen tee from J. Crew, my brand new BDG jeans from Urban Outfitters, another discovery from my closet were these Michael Kors brown suede clogs. I got my 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target bag and grabbed my retro mirrored Marc Jacobs sunnies and headed out to a meeting on the other side of town. After I was done with that, I decided I just wanted to chill for a bit and headed to Franklin Canyon; to just take a moment to breath and take it all in. It is just so gorgeous and peaceful, so much nature and greenery you forget you are in the middle on all the hustle and bustle of LA. Shop my look below.
Esta limpieza de closet que estoy haciendo ahora esta reintroduciéndome a mi propia ropa. Lo que pasa es que mi closet estaba (bueno todavía esta) tan lleno que a veces apenas puedo ver todo. Yo mantengo mis compras más recientes en un colgadero separado y a veces me olvido de lo que tengo en mi closet.
Me he vuelto a enamorar de esta chaqueta Vintage estilo militar (me regalo una amiga que adoro tanto como la chaqueta) y de ahí empecé a combinar my outfit of the day (ootd si han escucha de eso antes, verdad?) alrededor de ella y quería mantenerlo neutral, escogí esta camiseta de lino de J. Crew y mis nuevos BDG jeans de Urban Outfitters. Otro descubrimiento de mi closet fueron estos zuecos cafés de gamuza de Michael Kors. Agarre mi cartera de 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target y mis gafas espejo de Marc Jacobs y lista para salir a mi reunión en el otro lado de la ciudad. Cuando se termino mi reunión decidí tomar me un momento de paz y me dirigí a Franklyn Canyon para descansar.
