Caroline Brown served successfully as president of Carolina Herrera for four years but announced on September 24th that she would be stepping down from her position. Already, rumors are flying around that Brown is now being considering taking on a prestigious job at Donna Karan and, although these rumors have not been confirmed, WWD has reported that she might take over as CEO. LMVH, which owns Donna Karan, has been looking for a successor to Karan’s previous CEO, Mark Weber, for a while now and Brown seems to be more than capable of taking over the position. Brown assisted Herrera’s brand expand greatly in her time there, especially when it came to digital marketing, and would be a fantastic addition to Donna Karan. Brown will leave Herrera at the end of the year and we can’t wait to see if all of the rumors are true!
