One of the perks of being a blogger is all the products that I receive all the time for review. I try to only accept the ones I think will work for me and my skin type; because my skin type is extremely sensitive. Here I am sharing with you a few of my favorite Fall beauty products for the month of October. Here is my take for hair, skin and body products that I hope you will try and they work for you.
This body butter from Josie Maran is so heavenly, the smell is amazing and the whipped cream has the softest texture I have ever felt on a body cream. And when I applied the cream to my legs and arms, first it felt so soft, and it instantly moisturized and shined my skin. It wasn’t greasy or sticky. I am keeping this baby on my night table from now on. Check the entire collection at Sephora.
The Palmetto Derma REJUVENATING ANTIOXIDANT MASK is just how I like my products. This mask is vegan and cruelty free and on top of that it is TSA Travel Size Approved, win win! As you may know (or maybe not) I have the most sensitive skin and allergic to many things, including SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) and perfumes on any beauty products, so when I find a product like this one; I am a super-duper happy camper. This mask purifies and brightens, it also repairs and softens my skin, which you will feel for yourself, after the first use.
These products are meant to be used together (but you can use the shampoo by itself)
- First you apply the Purifying Clay Mask with the brush applicator to all of your roots, leave on for 10-15 minutes ( I started checking my emails and left it on for 45 minutes and it didn’t hurt the process)
- With warm water you slowly remove the clay (that has turned hard) till the water runs clear.
- Apply the Purifying Clay Shampoo and massage it real good. Then rinse the shampoo from your hair.
I promise you this product will change your life (for the better), my hair felt so soft, that I didn’t need to apply a conditioner; but I did anyway just because I’m so used to it.
The shampoo and the mask are both under $12
I use dry shampoo all the time, it maintains my blow dried hairstyle for much longer. I have used many through out the years, but this one has to be one of the best ones that I have ever used. Some dry shampoos are odorless, which I don’t get why that is so, because if you are trying to keep your hair looking and feeling cleaner for longer the scent should be one of the main ingredients. Well this Ken Paves dry shampoo has the most amazing scent EVER, but not a heavy perfume like smell it is more like a natural herbal one. It does not leave a white residue (which for dark hair can be a major pain in the …) This dry shampoo is under $20.
Hope these reviews were helpful. Go try a new product, you never know, you may just fall in love with it; specially if they are affordable.
