Sheer and Sequin

Hey guys I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, it is such a magical and peaceful time with loved ones at home. Now it is time to get ready for the New Year’s celebration and this look may be a good option if you are not into gowns, but if you are looking at more of a relaxed, but still sparky and sexy look.

I like it all when it comes to fashion, and I like to try different things; because that is the only way I can figure what works for me and what looks good and what doesn’t. Last year, I did sequin pants, because like I’ve said before I dressed based on the weather and last year it was 34 degrees Fahrenheit.  This year it looks like it’s going to be in the high 40s, which is still super cold for this Miami girl. But I also think ahead, like is the party going to be indoors or outdoors; because I am not one to freeze to death just to look good. No matter how much I drink there is no way it’s going to warm me up like a cozy coat is, so dressing according to the weather is huge for me.

So this look is a good option for a party that is going to be indoors, and what’s more festive than sequin, right? Another option for this look is to wear black tights and knee high or thigh high boots.

For this look I am wearing a black sheer and lace long sleeve top and sequin mini skirt both from H&M, a pair of AMIClubwear suede lace up heels, a Fringe cluth and I added a Fedora hat and a bold lip using Milani lip liner to finish the look.

So come on, let’s get started planning your NYE outfits, if you haven’t already. I personally don’t know what I’m wearing yet, but if I don’t find THE dress I would definitely will wear this look. So stay tuned to see what I will wear, ’cause you know I will be posting it for you guys.
